Duquesne Light Company launched its microgrant program, Community Impact Grants, in 2021 to support programs and projects “led by diverse grassroots community organizations who are working on the ground to directly support customers and communities.”
We are honored that re:Bloom has been selected for a second year as one of the awardees of the Community Impact Grant. In 2021, the grant program awarded $250,000 among 40 organizations to support environmental justice, education and social equity.
Being selected as an awardee for the microgrant helps re:Bloom have a bigger impact on our mission to support Pittsburgh's women and minority-owned small businesses. As re:Bloom continues to grow, with our largest cohort yet this Fall and with exciting new partnerships, we look forward to partnering with DLC and other Community Impact Grant awardees to serve our communities.
