Gryphon’s Tea is a loose leaf tea shop based in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh, PA.

Some of the problems that Diana, the owner, came to us with were that there existed too many places customers could place a purchase and that made it easy to miss orders. She wanted to create an in store experience of drawing attention to new products. Finally, she did not know how best to incorporate “Gryphon Green” without overwhelming the user.

The new e-commerce shop was built on Wix, as it is an intuitive, easy-to-use, drag and drop platform that allowed Diana control of her shop. We taught her how to add new products in bulk, create and feature new collections, write blogs, and more.

The team redesigned Costa RicART’s website based on user testing feedback, set up an Etsy shop, developed social media posts, and outlined a social media strategy. The impact of the project is to boost Costa RicART’s sales and create a cohesive, distinctive brand.

The problem was that the number of people buying the products was far lower than the number of people visiting the Costa RicArt website. We researched how other local artists presented their website, as well as how they developed their brand presence on social media and Etsy.

We decided to redesign Costa RicART’s website to focus on its sustainability mission, as well as highlight the various products throughout the front page. We created an Etsy shop as another avenue for customers to access his products. We also decided to focus on the artist's story through adjusting the About page of the website and planning interactive how-to videos as part of the marketing plan. Our marketing plan features short-term goals for social media posts, as well as long-term partnerships with local Pittsburgh and CMU organizations.

Initially, Apollo Cafe’s website was on a static HTML page and did not have a modern design. The client’s friend controlled the website and this made it difficult for the client to navigate through.

Specifically, the client wanted to be able to add new menu items, add seasonal or feature items and add images to the menu, but it was cumbersome to do these actions on the original website. Finally, the client desired a modern and simple look to the website that would appeal to customers and use their newly-designed logo.

We researched different website platforms for the client to use and found that Wix would be the most flexible platform for the restaurant. It offered a free plan that included customizable menus, many themes to choose from, and several additional features such as slideshows and galleries. There were also many themes from which we chose the ‘City Bakery’ theme that fulfilled the client’s need for a clean design.

AOStrengthen had previously worked with re:Bloom to create a site for their company using Wordpress as their website builder. However, the platform was not intuitive for the client to maintain and therefore, the client returned to work with re:Bloom to create a new site on a different platform.

The client had decided to use Squarespace as an alternative to Wordpress as the web builder was more intuitive and structured. The client had chosen a theme and the Business Plan for payment.

reBloom’s solution was using Squarespace to create a new website for AOStrengthen in order to create a design that fit with the company and develop a website that would be easy for the client to maintain. The website facilitates easier accessibility for customers, meets ADA compliance standards and is optimized for search engines.
