The Opportunity Fund, a prominent Pittsburgh-based philanthropic foundation, has announced its latest grantmaking round, providing $867,750 through 60 grants in the first half of 2024. We are thrilled to announce re:Bloom is an awardee.
The Opportunity Fund fosters reciprocal relationships with its partners and community members, emphasizing trust as the cornerstone of strong, effective partnerships. This commitment to trust and community is reflected in their funding approach, with a significant portion of this cycle’s grants—82%—allocated as unrestricted general operating support.
At re:Bloom, we know that partnerships and community are at the heart of growth. We are committing to serving small businesses, especially black and women-owned businesses and their local communities. Through our programs, workshops, and partnerships we are able to create valuable opportunities for small business owners to learn how to build, grow, and manage their online presence. The grant of $7,500 will directly support re:Bloom’s ongoing efforts to make a significant impact in the community.
This latest round of grantmaking underscores the Opportunity Fund’s ongoing commitment to supporting diverse organizations and initiatives that drive positive change in the Pittsburgh community and beyond. As a small but mighty non-profit, re:Bloom is honored to be a partner in this commitment.
