The primary impact of the project was to customize an existing Shopify dropshipping template that was given to the client so that it is ready for the public and present the client with enough training for sustainable management. The primary problem was that the client wasn’t very familiar with Shopify and did not know how to edit their prebuilt Shopify template. The client also needed to link their website with the supplier’s products. We researched into understanding the template in more detail, comparing information with competitor pet stores, and figuring out what exactly we needed to incorporate on the website.

The client also needed to link their website with the supplier’s products. We researched into understanding the template in more detail, comparing information with competitor pet stores, and figuring out what exactly we needed to incorporate on the website.
Our solution was to slowly incorporate the suppliers products while simultaneously implementing training tasks. This was done first by changing the collections on the website so that they would match up with the supplier. This resulted in some product groups on the homepage not lining up and changes had to be made. The team then gradually uploaded more and more products to fill up the website. The team also updated the homepage and other sections of the website to ensure they matched the website theme and were in a layout that made sense. During all of this, the team introduced training videos for each stage they were working on, and assigned training tasks so that the client could try it out for themselves. Our result was a finished site with a chunk of products uploaded, automated supplier shipping / ordering, implemented SEO, and all pages customized to maximize user interaction.
